Hot Herbal Tea

  1. Place 1g of dried herb (about one tablespoon) in a covered container.

  2. Add 200ml (one cup) of hot water at 90°C (just below boiling).

  3. Let it steep for 3 to 5 minutes, allowing the herb to release its hidden strength.
The longer you steep, the stronger the infusion.

  4. Remove the herb from the container.

Your tea is ready to enjoy!
If you prefer a sweeter taste, feel free to add a bit of honey.

Tip: Use water just before boiling to avoid losing the herb’s essential oils to steam. Also, cover your container to trap both aroma and beneficial properties in your warm cup.

Iced Herbal Tea

Follow the same steps as above, but double the amount of herb.
Once steeped, pour your tea over a glass filled with ice.
Enjoy it plain or with a touch of honey!

A symbol of strength and beauty

The use of Cistus in medicinal practices dates back to antiquity. According to Greek mythology, it was a gift from the gods of Olympus, given to heal fallen warriors injured in the line of duty. Yet, the goddesses of Olympus believed its delicate flowers were better suited as vessels of beauty. And so, Cistus became known for both its healing and cosmetic properties.

Known by various names such as ladania, labdanum this plant is easy to recognize thanks to its bright pinkish-purple flowers with their distinct crinkled appearance. Labdanum (Cistus creticus or Cistus incanus) is a rich source of polyphenols—powerful natural compounds that support the body with strong antioxidant action, helping to strengthen the immune system.
