1.Place 1-2g of dried herb in a container that closes*.
2.Add 200ml (a cup) of hot water, temperature 90oC*.
3. We wait for three to five minutes, allowing the herb to bring out the hidden
power from within! The time depends on how “strong” we want our
drink, the longer we leave it the stronger.
4. Remove the herb from the container.</p >
Our drink is ready to enjoy! If we prefer sweeter flavors, we add a little honey.
* We want our water to be just before the boiling point in order not to lose the essential oils of our herb with the vapors, while the container must be closed in order to capture properties and aromas in our hot mug.
We follow the same steps as in the preparation of hot with only difference is that we double the dose of the herb. At the end, we add our tea to a glass full of ice and enjoy it plain or with a little honey!
An herb known for its beneficial properties since Ancient Greece. With a name that means “herb that heals”, it is also known as “Hyperikon”, “Balsamorto”, “Spatohorto”.
It is a purely medicinal plant. Both its dried flowering tops and the leaves of the plant are the raw material for pharmaceutical industries to prepare various preparations to treat mainly mild depression.
