Our participation in quality competitions is a nice challenge for us as we are given the opportunity to highlight what we love. The acquisition of another distinction is a reward for what we do, what we take, with so much care, from the blessed land of our island.

Teas of the World

Our participation in the international competition “Teas of the World” AVPA from France brought a special distinction this year. Herbal teas from all over the world with a long tradition were there! Among the many entries, in the category “Infusions (plants for infusion other than Camelia sinensis), mixtures and aromatic teas” a total of 60 prizes were awarded. The highest distinction of the gold award was given in just 3 entries! Among them, tofillo with our herbal tea malotira – Cretan Mountain tea.

 

 

The superior distinction from experts in the field of tea, makes us filling happy as it is a wonderful opportunity for us to talk once again about a unique and favorite herb of Crete known since antiquity! Our Cretan Mountain tea has many arrows in its quiver. Tradition of centuries, long-term and recorded use for the strengthening and protection of the organism, labeled by scientific studies and international organizations, awarded for its quality characteristics, undoubtedly stands out and deserves the attention of all friends of herbal teas and not only.
